Educational Levels

From the first years of learning to university preparation, each educational level is thoughtfully designed to nurture students' academic, spiritual, social, and personal growth, guided by the IPEKA Christian Education Curriculum (ICE-C). Through age-appropriate learning experiences, students develop the knowledge, skills, Christ-like character, and Biblical worldview to flourish throughout their educational journey and beyond.

Nursery and Kindergarten

Learning begins through our Play-Based learning approach, where children develop foundational literacy, numeracy, communication, and social-emotional skills while discovering God's world through hands-on experiences. Within an English-speaking environment, young learners build confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Elementary

Students build a strong academic foundation through the integration of the National Curriculum within a Christ-centered learning environment. Supported by blended learning and technology integration, they develop critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills while connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences. Students also strengthen their English literacy through the PM Reader programme, developing strong reading habits and an appreciation for quality literature.

Junior High School

Students are encouraged to take greater ownership of their learning while developing the skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex world. Through blended learning, technology integration, collaborative projects, and meaningful inquiry, they strengthen critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills while growing in character, responsibility, and Christian values. From Junior High through graduation, students progressively strengthen their academic writing and research skills in English, preparing them for university and scholarship applications.

Senior High School

Students are prepared for higher education and future careers through a rigorous learning experience supported by blended learning and technology integration. As they deepen their competencies, discover their God-given purpose, and broaden their global perspectives, they are equipped to make a meaningful impact in society with wisdom, integrity, and Christ-centered character.

Pathways to University Program

To ensure future readiness, our Pathways to University Program provides a structured Continuous 5-Year Journey of Guidance spanning from Grade 8 through Grade 12. This program ensures strategic college prep—including specialized seminars, portfolio building, and test preparation. Stationed full-time at our campus, our professional Student Pathways Counselors (SPC) walk side-by-side with students and parents to align academic potentials with their future higher education calling.

Dedicated to nurturing emotional resilience and psychological health, the IPEKA Counseling Center (ICC) provides a sanctuary of professional care throughout a student's educational journey. By harmonizing qualified psychological expertise with a Biblical worldview, ICC supports students through specialized assessments, developmental mapping, and personalized counseling. We ensure that as students grow in wisdom, they also flourish in emotional wellbeing, strong character, and profound self-awareness.

Balikpapan IPEKA Cup (BIC) brings together young talents from schools across Indonesia to celebrate creativity through a variety of artistic competitions. More than a competition, it encourages self-expression, confidence, and the pursuit of excellence while fostering meaningful connections among participants.

Community Service
