IPEKA Career Camp 2026: Your Future Starts with Discovery
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” It is a familiar question, yet finding the answer is not always easy. For many high school students, choosing a future career can feel overwhelming, especially when there are countless possibilities to explore. Through IPEKA Career Camp 2026, students were reminded that they do not need to have everything figured out today. What matters is taking meaningful steps to discover their strengths, explore their interests, and prepare for the future with purpose.
Designed for students in Grades 10–12, IPEKA Career Camp 2026 provided opportunities to connect classroom learning with the professional world. Through professional talks, career prototypes, and talent shows, students were encouraged to look beyond familiar career choices, ask meaningful questions, and discover new possibilities.
One of the highlights was the Professional Talks, featuring accomplished professionals from various industries, including Cindyanto Kristian, CEO of PT Sewu Segar Nusantara (Sunpride); Joseph Simbar, Co-Founder and CEO of Mimin AI Platform; Dr. Chris Tanto, an internal medicine specialist at Tzu Chi Hospital; and Andy Gusena, CEO of Endecomm Groups and Founder of Artist Inc. Their diverse professional backgrounds offered students a broader perspective on career pathways, industries, and the realities of the working world.
Yet, career preparation is not only about understanding professions. As a Christian school, IPEKA believes that every student has God-given talents that can be developed for a greater purpose. Discovering a career path also means learning to recognize God’s calling and considering how personal strengths can become a blessing to others.
This message resonated with Steve Obedient Andison, a Grade 10 student from IPEKA Tomang, who shared that Career Camp reminded him to focus on discovering and building upon God’s plans for his life.
A similar encouragement came from Given Valent Christian, an IPEKA Sunter alumnus currently studying Music Composition at Universitas Pelita Harapan. He encouraged students to keep striving, embrace new experiences, and discover both their passions and God’s calling as they shape their future.
Through IPEKA Career Camp 2026, students learned that preparing for the future is a journey of exploration, reflection, and growth. More than choosing what they want to become, they were challenged to consider who God is calling them to be.
Because the future is not simply something to imagine. It is something students can begin preparing for today, one purposeful step at a time.
