IPEKA BALIKPAPAN Christian School is holding “BALIKPAPAN IPEKA CUP (BIC) 2021” online from September 18 to October 2, 2021. BIC 2021 is a digital competition that competes in arts for elementary to high school students. BIC comes in an online format where participants reach the entire IPEKA school network and other schools throughout Indonesia. BIC 2021 is the first art competition event held nationally by IPEKA BALIKPAPAN Christian School. This year, BIC 2021 has the theme "Rise Up" which means to rise. During the pandemic, it is considered not to bury the potential of students. They must continue to be creative, work, and develop their potential regardless of the situation, both in the academic and artistic fields.
There are a total of six competitions at BIC 2021, including Storytelling, Solo Vocal, Poster Design, Podcast, Photography, and Band with 218 students from 44 schools in 15 cities and 12 provinces in Indonesia participating in this virtual competition. The BIC 2021 Virtual Opening Ceremony will be held on September 18, 2021, which was opened by the Head of the Balikpapan City Education and Culture Office, Muhaimin, M.T.
