IPEKA BSD once again held a sports and modern dance competition which was attended by more than 20 schools in Jabodetabek or better known as IPBEST. This event was organized by SMPK and SMAK IPEKA BSD students, and is an annual event with a different theme each year. IPBEST 2023 held 2 branches of competition, namely basketball and modern dance.
This year, IPBEST raised the theme BEYOND which has the meaning of going beyond the limits of reach/ability/inspiration. Through this theme IPBEST hopes to become an activity that provides opportunities for all parties involved to develop every potential they have, creativity, and continue to transform to try new things and go beyond our limits.
"My feeling when I found out that there was another IPBEST event in 2023, I was definitely happy, excited, but there was a little fear, tension, because we have been off for 2 years because of a pandemic, without any knowledge, suddenly there this IPBEST event again, so we have to start again from 0. But we are definitely excited and very happy because finally we can open up opportunities for schools again, inviting other schools to become IPBEST participants," said Tata, Chair of the IPBEST 2023 event committee.
This time IPBEST was held at IPEKA BSD and was held offline for 16 days from 3 to 18 February 2023. And at the closing ceremony, IPBEST presented 5 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) athletes from Satria Muda Pertamina namely Ronny Gunawan, Avan Seputra, Sandy Ibrahim, Juan Kokodiputra, and Widyanta Tedja to attend to talk and play together with the All Star players.
