Let’s Commemorate Pancasila Sanctity Day by Rising and Moving Together with Pancasila

Pancasila Sanctity Day is celebrated on October 1 every year in Indonesia. This year, the theme raised is Bangkit Bergerak Bersama Pancasila (Rise to Move Together with Pancasila).

As quoted from the Guidelines for the Implementation of the 2022 Pancasila Sanctity Day Celebration on the Ministry of Education and Culture website, the Pancasila Sacred Day Commemoration Ceremony will be held on Saturday 1 October 2022 at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, East Jakarta.

The background of the commemoration of the Pancasila Sanctity Day is related to the September 30 Movement Event or better known as the G30S or G30S/PKI. According to quotes from various sources, during the G30S/PKI incident, seven generals and several people were massacred by a group of people who, according to the military authorities at that time, were affiliated with members of the Indonesian Communist Party. The Indonesian National Army finally suppressed the G30S/PKI incident itself, so it was named Pancasila Sanctity Day.

It is said that the G30S/PKI incident was masterminded by DN Aidit and his followers who are members of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI). They want to try to replace the Pancasila ideology with communism.

Congratulations on commemorating Pancasila Sanctity Day. The spirit to build Indonesia to be more prosperous.
