IPEKA Chinese New Year Celebration

The Chinese New Year celebration is celebrated every year in China and in a number of countries in Asia, including Indonesia. The celebration of Chinese New Year is celebrated on a different date each year. This year, Chinese New Year or Chinese New Year falls on February 1. Various activities are carried out as a form of Chinese New Year celebration, ranging from dinner with family, lion dance parade, playing fireworks, distributing red packets, and much more. IPEKA Christian School also enlivened the Chinese New Year celebrations with the students virtually. The following are some of the activities held by IPEKA Christian School to enliven the 2022 Chinese New Year celebrations.

IPEKA GRAND WISATA

Coinciding with the 2022 Chinese New Year, elementary students from IPEKA GRAND WISATA want to share some interesting videos and articles that are packed in the form of a website. Parents and students can see various activities as well as works made by students such as mandarin articles, student works of singing, and so on. This site was also created to introduce the various activities carried out in Chinese lessons.

IPEKA TOMANG

SDK IPEKA TOMANG’s Lunar New Year celebration this time was still colored with various competitions, there was a singing competition for students in grades 1-4 and a competition to make Chinese New Year ornaments for students in grades 5-6. The students were very enthusiastic about participating in the competition, it could be seen from the colorful costumes used and the interesting works that were made.

 

 

IPEKA PALEMBANG

The 8th-grade students from IPEKA PALEMBANG also celebrated the Chinese New Year by singing a song entitled Peng You, which means 'friend'. Not only with their families, but the students also celebrated this Chinese New Year together with friends from school.

 

 

 

IPEKA SUNTER

SDK IPEKA SUNTER also celebrates Chinese New Year together virtually via Zoom with various interesting events such as singing, dancing, and creating works in the form of lanterns and firecrackers.
