IPEKA PALEMBANG II came into existence to fulfill parents’ needs for quality Christian education that can keep up with the times in Palembang. In IPEKA PALEMBANG II we educate students to sharpen their intelligence and knowledge, build their personality and character and develop independent life skills which will be valuable for their future. We equip our students to be competent generation who have technological, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, collaborative, creative and innovative thinking skills.
Leadership Basic Training for Student Council
Leadership Basic Training (LBT) for Student Council is held annually to train the would-be board members of Student Council where during the training the students are trained about the basics of leadership, the how-to of collaboration, group decision making and problem solving.
IPEKA PALEMBANG 2 COMPETITION (IP2C)
IPEKA PALEMBANG 2 COMPETITION (IP2C) is a medium we provide to sharpen students’ characters about the values of cooperation, resilience, mutual respect and help, creativity and leadership. Since 2018, IP2C has been conducted as a medium of competition for the students of primary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools in Palembang in the form of singing, painting, spelling bee, story telling, robotic, basketball competition and others.
IPEKA PALEMBANG UNIVERSITY FAIR
IPEKA PALEMBANG UNIVERSITY FAIR is a higher education expo at IPEKA Palembang Christian Senior High School. It is held to give references and informed knowledge to students and parents so that they can choose the best university and study program in line with their talents and interests. National and international universities are given opportunities to make presentation, give exhibition, administer personality test and hold workshop with useful theme for students to prepare themselves to further their study in the higher level.
TEACHERS’ WORKSHOP
TEACHERS’ WORKSHOP is held to develop teachers’ competence in teaching and pastoral care. Teachers’ role is not only to teach and to educate, but also to give pastoral care. Furthermore, teachers of the current times are expected to be creative, innovative and inspiring for their students. Consequently, teachers should not only literate in the newest technology, but also keep up-to-date with students’ personality development.
