Knowing the Lord my God – Elementary Student Small Group Book (Facilitator’s Guide)

The “Knowing the Lord My God” book is published as one of the series in the Bible study program for large classes. Knowing God My God for Facilitators is used as a guide for teachers to guide small groups of five to eight children. By using this book as material for discipleship groups, teachers can guide students to know the person of God and His work.

The book contains ten topics that reveal who God is with language and approaches appropriate to the students’ developmental level. Each topic begins with an inspirational story as a discussion starter, followed by simple extracts from Scripture, memorized verses and relevant practical applications in daily life. To enrich the learning experience, the book also comes with activity sheets that help children explore and apply the truths they learn.

To make the learning and discussion process in small groups effective, this book also provides a discussion guide for small group leaders. This guide will equip group leaders to guide and direct their students to grow in the knowledge of God. With the correct knowledge of God, it is hoped that each student can grow to be more like God in his or her life.
