IPEKA Christian Schools Prevent COVID-19 Transmission in the School Environment and Implement Home Learning

The government issued five protocols related to the handling of the corona virus outbreak or COVID-19, one of which is the education area. To anticipate and increase awareness of the corona virus, IPEKA Christian School conducts body temperature checks before entering the school environment, periodically conducts misting and fogging in all areas of the school, also increases students' awareness of health by washing hands with soap, and providing hand sanitizers.

Then as a preventive measure to ensure all students are safe and anticipate the possibility of increasing the alert status of the corona virus outbreak, IPEKA Christian School implements Home Learning from March 17, 2020.

The Home Learning system allows students to continue their online learning process at their own homes, while IPEKA uses technology applications such as Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Meet, or YouTube, where teachers can give lessons or collect assignments. Online learning can also be done through video conferencing using Google Meet that has been scheduled.
