The IPEKA Games has long been a cherished tradition at IPEKA Tomang, a Christian school committed to shaping character and nurturing students’ God-given potential. This year, the 20th IPEKA Games returns with extraordinary scale and spirit: more than 3,000 participants, 128 schools, and 13 competition categories coming together under one powerful theme—Prabaswara: Illuminate Your Brilliance.
Rooted in IPEKA Tomang’s mission to foster Christian values not only academically but also through arts, sports, and leadership, the IPEKA Games has become a meaningful platform where students grow in sportsmanship, integrity, creativity, and solidarity. The theme “Prabaswara,” a Sanskrit word meaning “radiant light,” reflects the hope that every student will shine with their unique talents and inspire those around them.
Through competitions ranging from basketball, volleyball, badminton, floorball, FIFA esports, modern dance, English debate, LDBI, storytelling, drawing, coloring, spelling bee, and more, students from kindergarten to high school are given the chance to display excellence and perseverance. Beyond competing, they build friendships, strengthen teamwork, and embody the heart of a supportive, values-based community.
The opening ceremony of IPEKA Games 2025 will feature a musical drama titled Prabaswara Journey, presented by students showcasing regional dances, modern performances, live band music, and other creative acts. This celebration sets the tone for an event that is not only festive but deeply meaningful, highlighting the Christian school’s commitment to holistic education.
Closing night brings another wave of excitement, with performances by junior and senior high school students, award ceremonies, fun games led by guest star Faith Christabelle, and a joyful performances from IPEKA teachers and alumni. This celebration symbolizes unity—current students and alumni standing together, celebrating the brilliance that has grown within the IPEKA community.
