Nurturing a Love of Reading through Literacy Week

IPEKA Christian School is dedicated to fostering a love for reading and enhancing literacy skills among students. During Literacy Week at IPEKA Puri Elementary, students from grades 1 to 6 participated in a week full of engaging and educational activities designed to make learning fun. From storytelling and spelling bee competitions to buddy reading sessions, each activity encouraged students to develop their reading abilities and build confidence in literacy.

As a Christian school that values holistic education, IPEKA believes that literacy is a fundamental skill that empowers students to explore knowledge and express their ideas effectively. Through Literacy Week, students not only improved their reading and writing skills but also discovered the joy of literature. This event was made even more special by the support of teachers and parents, who played a crucial role in motivating students to actively participate.

By integrating creative literacy programs into the curriculum, IPEKA continues to nurture students' curiosity and passion for learning. Literacy Week serves as a reminder of the importance of reading in shaping young minds, helping them become thoughtful, articulate, and lifelong learners who are ready to make a positive impact on the world.
