On May 2, designated as National Education Day (Education Day). The history of National Education Day cannot be separated from the figure of Ki Hajar Dewantara, the pioneer of our nation’s education.
The 2021 National Education Day commemoration with the theme Serentak Bergerak Wujudkan Merdeka Belajar is expected to continue to ignite the spirit of Ki Hajar Dewantara, to be presented more real.
Recalling this day, let us all remember the spirit of Ki Hajar Dewantara and continuing his passion for improving our nation’s education.
With his slogans Tut Wuri Handayani and his message “Education is an absolute must for anyone, including all ethnicities, all nations and even religions, make every place a school and make everyone a teacher.” Ki Hajar Dewantara played a big part in creating Indonesian education until nowadays.
