Construction of the IPEKA Center Point of Indonesia (CPI) Christian School began on April 1 2022 which was marked by the procession of laying the first stone. Located in CitraLand City Losari Makassar, IPEKA CPI is strategic because it is located in front of Losari Beach and downtown Makassar. The area called 'The Center Point of Indonesia' will later become a new center of economic growth and the center of the economy of the city of Makassar which is growing rapidly.
The IPEKA CPI development project cooperates with PT Tatamulia Nusantara Indah (TATA) as one of the large national scale contractors. Currently the development process is running according to a predetermined schedule. The construction of IPEKA CPI is targeted to be completed on time and learning can begin in July 2023 for the 2023/2024 school year.
IPEKA CPI will open and serve various levels of education with a complete curriculum in the 2023/2024 school year for KB and Kindergarten (Early Childhood), Middle School (Grade 7) and High School (Grade 10). IPEKA CPI uses a curriculum enriched with international learning standards, the Pearson Edexcel Curriculum, and features 5 pillars of excellence called ILEAD, consisting of: Internal Growth, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Language Acquisition, and Digital Literacy (internal growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, mastery language, and digital literacy).
IPEKA CPI Christian School is an international standard Christian school that utilizes various forms of technology in learning. Just like other IPEKA Christian School locations, IPEKA CPI is committed to educating students through quality Christian education. "IPEKA CPI prepares future leaders with a Christian leadership spirit that prioritizes the use of technology in the learning process," said IPEKA's Main Director of Operations, Pdt. Handojo.
IPEKA CPI prepares the younger generation to have excellent academic abilities and character. IPEKA CPI also equips students with Leadership, Creativity, Innovation, Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving skills. In addition, regulated foreign language acquisition programs allow students to master English and Mandarin according to international standards. Apart from Indonesian, combining these two languages will equip students to be more than ready to communicate well in a global environment.
Various facilities are provided by IPEKA CPI to support student learning and development activities, such as the Grand Chapel, STEM Laboratory, Sciences Laboratory (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Digitech Laboratory, and Health Center. Basketball and volleyball courts are also available for student sports activities. In addition, art activities are also supported by Creative Art Workshops, Blackbox Theater, Music Studio, Ballet Studio, Culinary Studio, and Media Center.
IPEKA CPI also provides a scholarship program, namely the Trinity Scholarship, which will provide donations of up to 75% to prospective students. Currently, the IPEKA CPI Christian School exhibition is also being held to introduce IPEKA CPI's programs, advantages, and facilities to the people of Makassar. This exhibition will take place at TSM Mall Makassar, South Lobby, LG Floor from 24 to 30 October 2022.
