As a form of good relationship between educational institutions, IPEKA Christian School had the opportunity to receive visits from several universities in Singapore such as Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
During the visit, university representatives, such as Mr. Andrew Low from SMU, Mr. Jonathan Kua from SUTD, Ms. Veronica Wong from SIT, and Ms. Sui Ying Toh from SUSS, provided in-depth explanations of the courses offered, campus facilities, and career prospects accessible to international students. The presentations not only illustrated the academic excellence of each university but also touched on aspects of campus life, from extracurricular activities to student support.
One of the main focuses of the visit was to provide a comprehensive overview of the preparation required to pursue studies in Singapore. The representatives enthusiastically shared information on the admissions process, study requirements and general guidance for prospective international students. In addition, they provided insights into the cultural environment and daily life in Singapore, helping students and parents better understand the challenges and opportunities they could face.
IPEKA students, along with their parents, were invited to actively participate in the Q&A sessions, creating an interactive atmosphere where questions about the Singapore study experience could be answered directly by the experts. This provided a valuable opportunity for both students and parents to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the steps to be taken to pursue higher education in the Lion City.
The visit was a great opportunity for students and parents to gain insights into the preparation required to study in Singapore, from study programs to scholarship opportunities.
